Capitalized terms have the meanings assigned to them in this Policy.

1.2 Definitions

  • Account means the unique profile created for you to access the Service.
  • Application means the mobile application titled "ZOne – Sleep & Health Optimization."

  • User Content means journal entries, survey responses, text inputs, metadata, or other content you submit through the Service.
  • Website means zonesleep.app.
  • You means the individual using the Service or the organization on whose behalf the Service is used.

2.2 Sleep and Health Data

  • Health metrics relevant to sleep (e.g., HRV, resting heart rate, SpO2) where synced from wearables

You decide which health information to provide. The Service cannot function properly without basic sleep and health data.

2.3 Wearable and Device Data

If you connect a third-party wearable device or platform (e.g., Oura Ring, Apple Health, Apple Watch), we may receive data from those platforms subject to your permissions and their privacy policies. We only access data you explicitly authorize.

2.4 User-Submitted Journal and Survey Inputs

We collect text entries, answers to in-app surveys, and other inputs you submit, including sleep journals, mood logs, and wellness check-ins.

2.5 Usage Data

We automatically collect:

  • Device type, operating system, and app version

2.6 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This analysis is performed to deliver the core functionality of the Service. We do not use your personal health data to train general AI models shared across users without your consent.

3.4 Marketing (Optional)

We may send you promotional communications unless you opt out. You can unsubscribe at any time via in-app settings or the unsubscribe link in any email.

6. User Content and License Rights

By submitting User Content, you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, store, process, reproduce, and analyze your User Content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service. We do not publicly display your content without your express consent.

7. Retention of Data

  • Personal Data is retained for as long as your Account is active or as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.
  • Sleep and health data is retained until you delete it or delete your Account.
  • Usage Data is retained for a shorter period unless needed for security or legal purposes.

We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed unless legally required to retain it.

8. Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers outside your jurisdiction, including in the United States. We implement appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law, including standard contractual clauses for international transfers where required.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. However, no online system is entirely secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

13. Third-Party Links and Integrations

The Service may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, platforms, or services (including wearable device platforms). Their privacy practices are their own, and we do not control or endorse them. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you connect to ZOne.
